Chico Suns Blue

The Chico Suns Blue are one of two junior legion teams in Chico American Legion Baseball, comprised of 15-17 year old players from Pleasant Valley High School, Chico High School, Durham High School, and Paradise High School.

DUSTIN WOODWARD
Head Coach
4th Year

Coach Woodward begins his second season as the Head Coach for the Chico Suns Blue team. After working as an assistant coach for three years, Coach Woodward took the Suns Blue team to within one win of the California State championship in his first year as head coach. Woodward graduated from PV High School, and played two years for the Chico Nuts before moving on to Mendocino College and Freed Hardman University to finish his baseball career. Currently Coach Woodward is finishing his degree at Chico State.

Assistant Coach

Coach Stavely begins his fourth year as the pitching coach for the Chico Suns Blue team. He is a product of Paradise High School, and pitched for two seasons for the Chico Nuts, before moving on to Butte College and Brescia University.
